CMS University

A university content management system for an institution in Pluit, Jakarta, designed to strengthen online presence and streamline day-to-day publishing. The platform centralizes live chat, profile pages, blog/articles, and event management so staff can update content quickly while students and prospects get a modern, responsive experience.

Core Features

  • Live Chat: real-time inquiry channel for prospective students and parents.
  • Company/Institution Profile: editable sections for history, programs, faculties, and services.
  • Blog & Articles: structured authoring with categories/tags and featured content.
  • Events: create, schedule, and publish campus events with time, venue, and registration links.

Outcomes

  • Improved SEO & traffic: SEO-ready URLs, meta/OG tags, sitemap, and clean content structure contributed to higher organic visits.
  • Faster updates: non-technical staff can publish pages, posts, and events without developer assistance.
  • Better engagement: live chat and fresh content increased user interaction and inquiry quality.

My Role

Full-Stack Developer — led the project from concept to implementation, covering information architecture, data modeling, UI, and deployment. Client feedback highlighted gains in content velocity, SEO visibility, and day-to-day usability.

Tech Stack

  • Backend: Yii2 (PHP) with MySQL.
  • Frontend: Bootstrap UI with jQuery/AJAX.
  • WordPress integration: leveraged where appropriate for blogging/editorial workflows and SEO plugins.
